 5.  Science - A tie is developing for me here.  Apologia was my go to, but now Kahn Academy is proving to be FREE and very successful for my teens.
6.  History - Personally I like the hands on, "Homeschool in the Woods", and we read "Mystery of History" and "Story of the World" - appropriate for our yearly cycle.  "Drive Through American History" is new to us, but it, too, is FREE with a Schoolhouse Teacher's membership.
7.  Art - Ok.. totally bias here.. my classes Rock!  And for students who complete at least one art or architecture class successfully, the National Art Honor Society Chapter that I sponsor is packed with great kids and fun and challenging art projects.
8.  Music - Simply Music Piano has my vote many times over!  Not just for piano but for music fundamentals in general.  This is a great method for kids who want to play for fun, but also for those future music majors.  Feel free to register for a group or private Zoom (or in person) lesson:).
9.  Film - Just found this course and can't wait to get started with it:  www.fs4t.com  (Film School for Kids).  (If anyone wants to join us, we have a class starting on Wednesday mornings (August 2019)  We can certainly zoom you in:).
10.  Architecture - Yes, I will never stop loving this subject simply because it includes so many other subjects.  It is definitely a field for the life long learner.  A little art, drawing, design, modeling, writing, history and research all built into one project or series of projects... best STEAM type course ever!

Click HERE for Online courses such as:  Foreign language, Classics, Literature, Math, History etc.  Classical Learning Resource Center teachers are experienced, easy to work and are fabulous!  My children have enjoyed the courses that they've taken very much.

I have a bunch of KUDOS to give out for the 2018-2019 school year!

WRITERS - Congrats to Eva and Julia for completing their "One Year Adventure Novels"!  Both novels are brilliant!   Congrats to Braden and Darren for completing your IEW curriculum this year!

NAHS STUDENTS - You stepped up to the plate!  Almost everyone completed their volunteer hours and the requirement of three projects.  The work that you did on your projects was fantastic!  You are a very impressive group of young artists!  (Click HERE to see their work.)

ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS - Leighton, Emily, Anna, Largo, Zachery, Samuel, Avery, Charlotte, Joshua and Noah....  each of you went above and beyond with your projects and assignments!  Kudos to everyone who finished any of my architecture courses! You should be very yourselves!  I know how much work you did!  I am proud of you!  Keep building your portfolios:)!

PIANO STUDENTS - Wow!  What a year so far!  Kudos to Eva - First student to reach Foudnation Level 6!!  Kudos to Justice for the most improved!  Congrats to everyone else for your individual accomplishments!  Best Piano Students EVER:)!

PHOTOGRAPHY STUDENTS - Kudos to Sophia!  

THESPIANS - Wow!  "The Story of the Nutcracker" was fabulous!  Congrats on a lot of hard work paying off.  From sets to choreography to practicing lines.. your teamwork is to be commended!

Overall, 2018-2019 was a Fantastic and FUN school year!
